Collection: Maps to Milk

Maps to Milk traces the arc from urgency to stillness. From the moment my family fled Lebanon in 1989, to the quiet of building sanctuary in Sydney, to the radical stillness of motherhood.

The Maps are displacement, escape, the coordinates of survival. Each work embeds real aerial photography I captured at 30,000 feet and topographic line work that traces the terrain below. Lebanon, Tuscany, Portugal, Dubai. Places my family once fled and places I have since chosen.

The Milk is what comes after. It is an expanding body of work that I am still building.
