Nikki S.
Collector, 7 Original Works
Brigitte's artwork is both stunning and amazingly crafted. She discussed price, sizing, my colour palettes and choices. She was incredibly patient and understanding of my wishes and was super easy to work with. I adore my big, beautiful masterpiece.

Meet Brigitte

In 1989, my grandmother held a Turkish rug above a car roof while bullets rained down on the road out of Lebanon. My family fled to give me freedom. I honour that by making art that refuses to choose.

I'm a Lebanese-Australian artist and artist based in Sydney. I create Contemporary Cartography of the Diaspora: paintings that embed GPS coordinates, heritage maps, and aerial photographs I capture from plane windows at 30,000 feet.

Awarded Australia's Art Ambassador at the Art Connects Women event held by Zee Arts Gallery under the patronage of UNESCO. My work has been exhibited at the Florence Biennale and internationally, and I'm currently preparing for Florence Biennale 2027.

Common Questions

What's the difference between originals and prints?
Originals are one-of-a-kind acrylic on canvas paintings. Prints are limited edition reproductions on archival museum-quality cotton rag paper, hand-embellished with gold leaf. Edition of 9 per design, signed and numbered.
How do commissions work?
Book a free consultation call. We talk about the places that matter to you. I source the aerial photography and topographic data, then build your painting over 4-8 weeks. From $5,000 AUD with payment plans available.
What are the GPS coordinates embedded in the paintings?
Real geographic coordinates of meaningful locations: where you were born, where your family came from, where your children took their first breath. Embedded into the foundational layers. Invisible unless you know they're there.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Prints ship Australia-wide and internationally. Commissions include free delivery within Sydney Metro and Blue Mountains.
What if I'm not sure what to choose?
Book a free consultation call. No obligation. We'll talk about your space, your story, and what feels right.

Your Story Deserves a Wall

Not decoration. Not something that matches the couch. Art that holds who you are, where you've been, and what it took to get here.
