Acrylic on canvas, informed by aerial photographs personally captured at 30,000 feet over New Zealand and Australia. Deep purples, magenta, teals, and light lagoon blues layered across the surface, held together by white topographic line work. Two Southern Hemisphere landscapes mapped into one work, the diasporic experience of holding multiple geographies simultaneously. A cartography of belonging to everywhere and nowhere at once.
