Serena: Limited Edition Print

This is the limited edition print of Serena, signed and numbered, made in my Sydney studio. The original has found its home with a private collector.

Serena is the Siren. In the old stories, her song pulled sailors off course and they went willingly. The face belongs to the soprano who made symphonic metal operatic. Fans will know her in a second.

She is part of my Pop Art series, built on Warhol's dare: take an image the whole world already knows and rebuild it around someone it was never meant to hold. We turn musicians into religious icons and follow their voices anywhere. Serena asks what it costs to be the one singing.

One of my larger works, made to command a wall, not decorate it. The original is gone, but the print holds every nuance: the movement, the layering, the charge.

Sizing your wall art: A1 and A0 hold a wall on their own above a sofa or bed. A2 works as a focal point in smaller rooms. A3 pairs beautifully in sets for a gallery wall.

About the artist

Brigitte Gerges is a Lebanese-Australian contemporary artist working from her studio in Sydney. Australian Art Ambassador under UNESCO patronage (Zee Arts Gallery Dubai, 2024). Florence Biennale exhibitor, 2023. Collected across Australia, the USA, Japan, Austria, and Dubai.
