Limited Edition Prints: The Collector's Guide

Start with a print

Nearly every collector of my work started the same way: one limited edition print. Small enough to be an easy yes, made carefully enough to hold a wall on its own.

How a print is made

Every print begins as an original painting, made in my Sydney studio. The painting is photographed and reproduced on 310gsm Canson Photographique Photo-Rag cotton rag paper, a heavyweight archival fine art paper chosen so the colour and surface hold for decades. Hand-embellished editions then come back to the studio, where I work paint back into each print by hand, so no two are identical.

What an edition of 25 per size means

Each print is released in a limited edition of 25 per size. Every print is signed and numbered by hand and ships with a certificate of authenticity. When an edition sells out, it is gone permanently. No reprints, no exceptions.

Prices and sizes

Standard limited edition prints run from A5 at $95 to A0 at $980. Hand-embellished editions are from $499. Every piece ships worldwide.

Questions collectors ask

Will the colours fade?

The prints are produced on archival cotton rag stock specifically so they last. Keep any artwork out of prolonged direct sunlight and it will outlast the wall you hang it on.

What is the difference between a standard and a hand-embellished print?

A standard print is a faithful archival reproduction of the original painting, signed and numbered. A hand-embellished print goes further: I work paint onto each one by hand in the studio, which makes every piece in the edition subtly unique. That is why they begin at $499.

Is it really signed?

Yes. Every print in every edition is signed and numbered by hand, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Where the work comes from

I am a Lebanese-Australian contemporary artist. My paintings map places, memory and belonging: real GPS coordinates, heritage maps and aerial photography layered into the work. I exhibited at the Florence Biennale in 2023 and my work is collected internationally. The prints carry the same stories as the originals, at a price that lets you start.
