A commissioned abstract painting from my studio ranges from $1,800 for a small panel work to $10,800 for a large statement piece on raw linen. Prices listed by size and surface below, in AUD, including complimentary courier delivery anywhere in Australia and one complimentary revision after the unveiling.
I am Brigitte Gerges, a Lebanese-Australian contemporary artist based in Parramatta, Western Sydney. I have exhibited for sixteen years, and the prices below reflect my actual studio time, materials (raw Belgian linen, archival acrylic, gallery wrap), and the layered process of my practice.
I publish prices openly. You should know what a commission costs before you fall in love with the idea of one.

Available sizes, surfaces and pricing
All prices in AUD and reflect the 2026 commission calendar. Prices may be revised for the 2027 season onwards.
Surface One
Compact Panel Works
Cradled timber panel. Smaller, intimate pieces with the same layered, map-embedded language as my linen work, suited to a narrow wall, a bedside, or a considered grouping.

Surface Two
Statement Linen Originals
Raw Belgian linen, gallery wrapped, ready to hang unframed. My signature surface. Built to anchor a wall and hold its presence in a generous room.
Sizes outside this guide are available by request. Diptychs and triptychs are quoted per the total combined surface plus a small composition fee.
What is included in every commission
- Complimentary courier delivery anywhere in Australia, fully insured.
- One complimentary revision after the unveiling.
- Certificate of authenticity, signed and dated.
- A handwritten letter from the studio.
- A commemorative process photograph of the work mid-build, printed on archival stock.

What affects the price
- Size is the single biggest factor.
- Surface. Statement linen carries more material cost and longer layering than panel.
- Complexity. Heavier embedded coordinate work or multi-layered glazing sits at the upper end of each tier.
- Framing is optional and quoted separately. Linen works are gallery-wrapped, designed to hang unframed.
How payment works
A 50% deposit at brief sign-off confirms your commission and reserves your spot in the studio calendar. The balance is due on completion, before delivery. Everything is agreed in writing first.
Payment plans on the larger statement works are available on request.
To begin a commission, the next step is a short conversation about your space, your brief, and the size that fits.
